I’ll be the initial in my family to earn an university degree, and that’s something I hold very close to my heart.
My family members and I moved to the USA in 2014 We chose Memphis as our second home to begin fresh and build a better future.
When I graduated high school in 2020, I chose to join the Army Book so I can work full-time to aid support my family economically. In the process, my moms and dads always reminded me of the value of an university degree. Honestly, I dealt with the decision between selecting work over college.
That transformed when I discovered the University of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I can make my degree 100 % online from a certified, nationally identified Carnegie R 1 university. The versatility of the program made it feasible to stabilize job, life, and education. Once I enlisted, I recognized I made the ideal selection.
As an on-line trainee, I remained involved with campus life via profession fairs and joining pupil organizations like the Culture of Human Resource Monitoring. I wanted to get one of the most out of my college experience and connect with individuals who shared my passion for human resources.
Last November, I deployed to Kuwait, with a month left of autumn term. Many thanks to the assistance and framework of UofM International, I had the ability to finish strong, even making the Dean’s Checklist. I’m taking four classes while serving on active service, and I’m honored to say I’ll be graduating in May.
Having the ability to serve my nation, support my household, and earn my degree indicates the world to me. I feel all set to take on whatever comes next.
