Alliance Wins Silver Telly Award for Flu Film

We are thrilled to announce that our educational film Flu and You: Getting the Right Vaccine for Your Age has received a Silver Telly Award. This recognition marks our 9th year of receiving a Telly for our impactful films, reinforcing our commitment to creating clear and accessible health education content for older adults.

In today’s landscape of misinformation and disinformation, the need for trusted, science-based educational resources about vaccination has never been greater. Our award-winning film addresses the critical topic of flu vaccination in older adults, helping viewers navigate the different options available and understand which ones are best suited for their needs.

The Alliance has spent nearly two decades creating educational films that make complex health topics more understandable for older adults. Our mission in creating and distributing these films is to provide accurate and accessible information, empowering people to make informed and confident decisions about their healthcare. Reaching millions of individuals through a variety of channels like social media, TV public service announcements (PSAs), digital advertising, and streaming, our content covers crucial topics that older adults often face, such as sepsis, vaccination, nutrition, sarcopenia, neuropsychiatric symptoms, stroke prevention, and more.

We are deeply grateful for the continued recognition by the Telly Awards. Established in 1979, the Telly Awards celebrate excellence in television and video across all screens. Each year, they receive thousands of entries from all over the world. Winning a Telly Award signifies that our work is among the best, recognized by leading advertising agencies, television stations, production companies, and publishers worldwide.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us. Your encouragement and support make our success possible!
